Japanese Trapdoor Snails (Sinotaia quadrata) are one of the most popular freshwater snails for ponds and aquariums, known for their peaceful temperament, hardy nature, and excellent algae-grazing abilities. As livebearers, they reproduce much more slowly than many pest snail species, making them easy to manage.
Pick the pack that fits your water: a 3-pack covers a tank or patio tub, a 5-pack suits a larger tub or small pond, and a 10-pack puts a full cleanup crew in a pond. Bigger packs save you money per snail.
Every live animal order includes complimentary floating plants and is backed by my Live Arrival Guarantee. Live animals ship Mondays, usually the next available one and occasionally the one after. During extreme weather I may hold your shipment and wait for safer conditions, and I will keep you posted if that happens. Not ready yet? Ask me to hold your order at checkout and I will ship whenever you say go, at no extra cost.

Came in super healthy and big. They also took the time to explain what they feed them, calcium supplements, and water parameters.
