Digital Aquarium Heater
This is my favorite aquarium heater, and I've tried quite a few over the years. The protective guard helps prevent fish, shrimp, and snails from accidentally contacting the heating element, and the external digital controller makes it easy to dial in the exact temperature without putting your hands in the water. It's become my go-to heater for indoor breeding tanks.

Biological Filter Media
A permanent home for beneficial bacteria that help convert harmful ammonia and nitrite into safer compounds. I prefer biological media over disposable cartridges whenever possible because it provides more stable, long-term filtration.
