Sumi-e Ink Medaka Tee
Made of: 100% ring-spun cotton, 6.1 oz, garment-dyed and pre-shrunk
A single medaka in the style of Japanese sumi-e ink painting: loose gray brushwork, a soft orange wash along the body, a few ripples, and a tiny floating plant. A red seal stamp beside the fish reads めだか, medaka written in hiragana, and the word Medaka sits underneath.
It is quiet enough to wear anywhere, and only fish people will know exactly what it is.
The ink reads best on light fabric, so it comes in Ivory, White, and Butter.
Printed direct to garment on the Comfort Colors 1717, a 6.1 oz garment-dyed tee in 100% ring-spun cotton with a relaxed fit that is soft from the first wear. Wash cold inside out and tumble dry low, or hang dry, to keep the print crisp.
Sizes S through 4XL in Ivory, White, and Butter, one price in every size. Pick a color and the photo follows along.
Every piece is printed from my own original artwork, prepped and checked by hand so the fish comes out crisp and clean.
