Cathedral Pond Stained Glass Medaka Sweatshirt, Firefly Medaka Special Edition

Cathedral Pond on a crewneck sweatshirt. A gothic church window, but the saint is a medaka.

I built this one like real leaded glass: a pointed lancet window in a bone stone frame, every piece of glass one solid color, and every lead line the same width, so it reads as a window from across the room and holds up close. A pale medaka swims through faceted blue water below a pink lotus in bloom, round lotus leaves float at the surface, bubbles rise from the fish, and a rose window at the top holds a glass firefly with a warm yellow lantern. Under the sill, "Firefly Medaka" sits in pink blackletter with "Japanese Rice Fish & More" beneath it.

It prints in full color, and on a dark sweatshirt the leading reads like a cathedral after dark, which is the point.

Printed direct to garment on the Gildan Heavy Blend 18000, a medium-heavy 8 oz crewneck sweatshirt in 50/50 cotton and polyester fleece, with a classic fit, a ribbed collar, cuffs, and waistband that hold their shape, and a tear-away label so nothing scratches. Wash cold inside out and tumble dry low.
