Pickup and local drop-off
I don't offer pickup or visits at this time. If you're within about an hour of Raleigh, I may consider dropping your order at your door instead of shipping it, at the same cost as shipping. It's a case-by-case call, and I may still ship it. Details are on my shipping page.
Triangle weather and your fish
The Triangle sits around USDA zones 7b to 8a. Summers run hot and humid, so afternoon shade and floating plants keep a patio tub comfortable. Winters bring short freezes and the occasional ice storm rather than months of hard cold, so a deep container can usually stay outside all year. My outdoor medaka guide and winter guide cover the details from my own tubs.
